Now, users can explore the world with Google Earth VR on the HTC Vive. Google Earth VR allows users to travel anywhere in the world from their homes. You can do all things you have not ever imagine as flying across the planet like a bird over coastlines or cities, drop to the surface and explore through streets of, or trek across the Himalayas, with the mountains at your feet, as a giant tens of thousands of feet tall. Users can choose destinations by hands include the Amazon River, the Grand Canyon, the Swiss Alps, and Manhattan. There is a minimum requirement of 8 GB of RAM to run the application, and it is only available on Windows. Google Earth VR has been received well, with over 98 percent of the 200 plus reviews being positive.
StreetView is not integrated into the app though. There is no search for places, and you cannot enter co-ordinates after searching for a location in another app. The experience requires a constant internet connection, and the details in a view takes time to load, just like the regular Google Earth.
