Explore the world with Google Earth VR on HTC Vive

Is it possible to explore the world with Google Earth VR on HTC Vive? The answer is Yes, caused Google Earth VR allows users to travel anywhere in the world from their homes with HTC Vive

Now, users can explore the world with Google Earth VR on the HTC Vive. Google Earth VR allows users to travel anywhere in the world from their homes. You can do all things you have not ever imagine as flying across the planet like a bird over coastlines or cities, drop to the surface and explore through streets of, or trek across the Himalayas, with the mountains at your feet, as a giant tens of thousands of feet tall. Check out my list of fun, weird and just plain amazing fact of life I have found.

Users can choose destinations by hands include the Amazon River, the Grand Canyon, the Swiss Alps, and Manhattan. There is a minimum requirement of 8 GB of RAM to run the application, and it is only available on Windows. Google Earth VR has been received well, with over 98 percent of the 200 plus reviews being positive.

StreetView is not integrated into the app though. There is no search for places, and you cannot enter co-ordinates after searching for a location in another app. The experience requires a constant internet connection, and the details in a view takes time to load, just like the regular Google Earth.

The App is the second VR app to release first for the Vive after Tilt Brush. Google Earth VR is expected to land on other platforms next year. Would you like to get free online games for kids ?

Things that can drive crazy about Civ 6

Things that can drive crazy about Civ 6, let's see and give us your own idea

1. Adjacency bonuses: incredibly important, poorly expressed

This is the big one. When you're about to build a district, Civ 6 tells you what bonuses you'll get for that tile immediately—if I drop a campus beside two mountains, I'll get two bonus science per turn, for example. But you can't reallycheck in on those adjacency bonuses mid-game. Is my aqueduct boosting my theater district? How much are my mines helping my industrial zone? It's bonkers that I can't just hover over a tile and have it tell me in detail what benefits it's giving me.

2. My kingdom for a tooltip

Likewise, some of Civ's biggest nuances go un- or under-explained. For my first playthrough, I struggled to figure out why a city I'd conquered was suffering occupation penalties hundreds of turns later because the (I guess) inconsequential topic of city conquering is afforded a single sentence in Civilopedia, which itself has tons of information gaps. What do you do with captured spies? If I agree to not move too close to my neighbor's borders, will I violate that promise if their borders advance, or if a scout passes by? What determines which type of artifacts spawn from an antiquity site? What's the threshold for gaining or losing the war weariness penalty? If I found a city atop a luxury resource, do I get it?

3. Amenity allocation

On that note: I like amenities. I think they're an interesting counterweight to population growth. But they aren't well explained. Civ tells you that amenities are distributed evenly between cities, automatically. But if I have four cities and five amenities, with equal population, who gets the fifth one? Again, it's frustrating to not have perfect information when you're deciding whether to build a zoo or a spy. It also took me too long to understand that duplicate luxury resources provide no benefit, other than being tradable extras.
Enjoy our wide range of funny pictures with captions that can make a joyful day.

4. The ancient secret of tile swapping

It's strange that the Very Useful ability to swap tiles between bordering cities is buried under the citizen management button. Swapping a big farm or production tile can make all the difference when you're managing population growth or wonder progress.

5. Distance-based benefits

Some buildings and wonders, like zoos, or a power plant, grant their benefits toall owned cities within six tiles. Getting two improvements for the price of one can be game-changing. Unfortunately, Civ 6 gives no indication of how that six-tile range is determined. If my neighboring city is four tiles north and two tiles east, does that mean it also gains the benefit? You can calculate it out yourselfafter a building is completed, but again, why isn't there any visualization of this when you're making a building decision?

6. Camera snapping to units

You can disable this easily by tweaking a text file, but the default camera behavior can be pretty aggravating depending on how many 'awake' units you have and how widely they're distributed over the map.

7. Tourism is the loneliest number

I enjoyed my run as Teddy Roosevelt. I founded New York and Yosemite on the same turn! Hell yeah. Accumulating great works and great people remains a satisfying part of Civ: deploying Chopin or Mary Shelley or Dvorak and seeing their creations spring to life, fullscreen, feels like grabbing epic loot off a boss in Diablo. Start your day with game, app reviews and free online games for kids

Ultimately, though, tourism in Civ 6 is a number that you watch go up until you win. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, there's no visualization to help me delight in the idea of citizens visiting my museums and resorts. I don't get the same visual payoff that I do with a science victory, where I get to see each stage of the Mars mission shot into space. That's a shame because Civ 6 has some wonderful, handcrafted details: if you build Cristo Redentor, for example, its appearance changes depending on the time of day. But there's no expression of Berlin or Jerusalem being thriving hubs of travel and culture.

Broken record time: tourism's nuances are also poorly explained. I have to do a lot of mouse-hovering over icons to figure out that India's religion is boosting the tourists I get from them, or that, because Germany grabbed the Enlightenment civic, I'm getting fewer tourists from them. Culture also doesn't interact with many of the game's other systems, other than spies. What if tourists had a negative impact on housing?

8. The religious endgame

For many of the same reasons, I find Civ 6's religious victory unsatisfying. Because you've only got three units, it's attrition with very little strategy underneath it. Although some civs like Kongo have interesting interactions with religion, and the 'faith race' to earn a great prophet is interesting, religious warfare essentially operates on a parallel plane from the rest of the game, disconnected from Civ's other systems and goals.
Those who loves to discover nature will not want to miss our wide range of factoflife articles.

9. The spy assignment UI

Please, just let me click on the tile I'd like to place my spy.

10. The hidden unit selection menu

"Now where did I put Leonardo da Vinci?" Seriously, I had to help two differentpeople find this thing.

Final Fantasy XV will be released globally on November 29--nearly two months later than its previously scheduled September 30 launch date.

Check ou our fact of life to reach a rich source of amazing facts and news about animal, place, human and much more others.

Game director Hajime Tabata said: "From the moment we joined this project, our vision was to create a level of freedom and realism previously unseen in the series. Regrettably, we need a little bit more time to deliver on this vision and are confident that this new release date will help us achieve this.

"As the director and lead of this project, I wish to personally apologize for the additional wait. As a team, we want Final Fantasy XV to achieve a level of perfection that our fans deserve. We kindly ask for your understanding."

Speaking in a video posted to YouTube (embedded above), Tabata explained that the team had finished working on a "master version" of Final Fantasy XV, and subsequently began working on a day-one patch. According to the video, Tabata felt that the contents of the patch should ship with the final game and not just be applied as a downloadable update, which led to the decision to delay the game's release date.

Square Enix will confirm whether this delay will affect the disc release of bothKingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV "at a later time."

Overwatch, Diablo 3 Art Updated news

Overwatch, Diablo 3 Art Updated news: An image of Sombra, the new Overwatch character Blizzard is expected to reveal later this week, has appeared online. The art was found on the server for Blizzard's official Overwatch merchandise store.

The image is signed by John Polidora, who is listed as a "Blizzard/Overwatch illustrator, concept artist, and character designer" on ArtStation. Although it has since been removed, the image has been reposted on Imgur.

Sombra is shown standing on the hand of giant Omnic, with threads of energy linking her hands to the fingers of the Omnic. This suggests she is exerting some sort of control over the giant robot, which could translate to gameplay in interesting ways.

Although Blizzard hasn't officially detailed Sombra yet, fans have speculated she'll be a hacker and advanced tech user, based on the in-game teases and various teaser websites that Blizzard has created. It's still unclear which class grouping she'll fit into.
You can also check out an amazing world of updated news and facts on factoflife.net in your freetime.

The pose she's striking in the image is similar to the one depicted in a previous leak (below), which was featured in the same document that also correctly detailed the Overwatch Halloween event.

Blizzard is expected to show off new Overwatch content during BlizzCon 2016, which kicks off on November 4. There's also a chance that something new could be revealed today to coincide with the Dia de los Muertos Festival, which ties into Sombra's Mexican origin.

On October 28, a post on the Overwatch blog mentioned Los Muertos, a fictional gang in the Overwatch universe, is "organizing a protest to coincide with LumériCo's unveiling of the Dorado nuclear plant on November 1st," which could be hinting at a map.

BlizzCon is completely sold out, but you can watch the event by purchasing a BlizzCon virtual ticket for $40. In addition to the press conferences and announcements, you'll also get to watch "Weird Al" Yankovic perform from the comfort of your home.

Did you know crazy facts about science

Top 10 crazy science facts you didn't know:

SCIENTISTS have a happy habit of stumbling upon crazy facts. You could even say it's their job.
But it's hard for people with regular IQs - us, for example - to keep up with every amazing discovery.
So we've compiled a list with ten of the more surprising facts uncovered by science in recent years.
1. PLANTS HAVE FAMILIES
They have no memory, but plants can recognise their close relatives and work alongside them. Plants grow less aggressively when surrounded by "family members", helping each other instead of competing fiercely as they would with "strangers".
Sadly, this one's a bit of a loner.

2. YOUR BODY IS A POWER SOURCE
The average human produces about 100 watts of power while resting, and that number can rise to 2000 watts during intense exercise. Some of this energy is wasted, escaping the body as heat. Scientists have been working on a way to harness that energy for a while, and they're making some strides, so stay tuned.

3. MALE SEAHORSES CAN GET PREGNANT
Seahorse sex is the ultimate role reversal. The males have "brood pouches", where females deposit their eggs before leaving the guys to give birth. We reckon a few human men would benefit from a pregnancy or two as well.

4. A HANDSHAKE TRANSFERS MORE GERMS THAN A KISS
Noble boyfriends and girlfriends, take note. There's no point in refusing to kiss your partner when you have a cold unless you keep your hands away from them as well. "People avoid kissing each other when they have a cold, but in fact they are more likely to pass on an infection by shaking someone's hand," hygiene expert Professor Sally Bloomfield says.

5. THIS JELLYFISH IS IMMORTAL
If the Turritopsis nutricula is injured, it turns itself into a blob and starts a process called transdifferentiation. The creature's cells revert to their earliest form and grow again, effectively regenerating. The jellyfish can be killed by predators, but otherwise it won't die.

6. WE'RE CLOSELY RELATED TO MUSHROOMS
Humans share a common ancestor with practically everything, but it turns out we're more closely related to mushrooms than we used to think. Think of the difference between sharing a grandfather and sharing a great-great-grandfather. Surprisingly, mushrooms are more closely related to humans than they are to plants.
You can totally see the resemblance to humans.

7. THE UNIVERSE IS 13.82 BILLION YEARS OLD
Say you live to the ripe old age of 100. Multiply that lifespan by 138,200,000 and you'll get the age of the universe, give or take a hundred million years. Makes you feel pretty young, doesn't it? Incidentally, Earth is a spritely 4.54 billion years old.
This isn't the whole universe. The whole universe would't quite fit in one shot.

8. YOUR HAIR CAN SUPPORT 12 TONNES
Well, not if you're half bald. But a full head of hair can hold the weight of two elephants combined. We'd advise against trying to test that theory at home though. Stick to a Rapunzel re-enactment.

9. CHICKENS DON'T NEED THEIR HEADS
Don't take this the wrong way. Chickens would much prefer to keep their heads. But one famous chook managed to live for 18 months after having his lopped off. "Mike the Headless Chicken" retained enough of his brain stem to keep going, and he ended up touring the United States. What a star.

10. OUR SUN WILL BECOME A HUGE DIAMOND
The blandly named star BPM 37093, otherwise known as "Lucy", puts every engagement ring on the planet to shame. It's basically a massive diamond of 10 billion trillion trillion carats, according to the BBC. Scientists expect our sun to crystallise into a diamond itself in about seven billion years.

However, the platform is quickly growing into a great place for kids with a selection of apps and games that cater to younger minds along with hardware specifically geared toward kids. In this roundup, we’ll take a look at some of the best Android kids games. It’s important to note that kids can be anywhere from three or four years old to twelve years old so this list may feature games that are too mature or difficult for younger kids or easy for older kids. Please use your best discretion.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds is an old franchise, but it’s perfect for kids. The mechanics are simple to learn and the game features cartoon style graphics with cute animals which kids seem to like. On top of that, there are several games in the franchise and each game has hundreds of levels. That means there is a ton of stuff for your kids to do. Every game is completely free to play but we recommend you put a password on your Google Play account so your kids don’t accidentally drain your wallet with in-app purchases. Otherwise, it’s one of the better kids games out there.

Bubadu
[Price: Varies]
Bubadu is a developer studio that has released a ton of kids games. They’re not all amazing, but a good number of them are worth checking out. The games don’t always have educational value but they are fun to play and include games about being a doctor, going to the supermarket, being a dentist, and about things like making cakes and building things. Each game has its own set of mechanics, but they’re never difficult to learn and the ideas presented should be pretty simple for most people. You can download most of the games for free and pay for the full version through in-app purchases if you like them.

Cut the Rope series
[Price: Free with in app purchases]
The Cut the Rope franchise is another great series of kids games. It features a cute little monster that just wants to eat some candy and it’s your job to give it to him. Much like Angry Birds, it has simple mechanics, a fun little soundtrack, and multiple games in the series that contain hundreds of levels. Also, much like Angry Birds, there are in-app purchases so make sure your phone is password protected appropriately so your kids don’t accidentally take advantage. It’s also fun enough to play for adults!

Duck Duck Moose, Inc

[Price: Free]
Duck Duck Moose is a developer studio that specializes in kids games. They have just over half a dozen games in total that will have your kids building trucks, playing bingo, learning math, and going on adventures. Your kid should be able to learn these games rather quickly. They are completely free to download and play which is another bonus.

Endless Alphabet
[Price: Free with in app purchases]
Endless Alphabet is an educational word game where your kids have to unjumble letters in order to figure out what the word is. When they’re finished, the word will pop into an animation to show them what the word means. The game comes with over 100 words to learn and it also doesn’t keep score or register failures so your child can go at its own pace. The free version lets you demo the game and the paid version gives you the whole experience. The developer has also made a handful of awesome kids games.

Explorium: Ocean For Kids
[Price: Free / $4.50]
Explorium: Ocean for Kids is one of the more excellent kids games that also teaches them about the ocean. They’ll play as two kids who have traveled to the depths to learn about it. The game comes with an built-in encyclopedia with more than 50 fun facts, the ability to customize your own experience, and there is a two-player mode where parents can play along as well. There is a free version or you can pay $4.50 for the full game. The developers have a similar game for space that costs the same as this one.

Intellijoy games

If you don’t want to pay, pretty much all games come with a free version.

LEGO games
[Price: Varies]
LEGO has a long, storied history of producing some really awesome kids games. They have a variety of titles, including games themed from comic books, Star Wars, and their own series of games called Nexo Knights.
